About Us

Dear Fellow Residents,

Every day, more than 400,000 of us go to a place of work. Many spend more waking hours at work than anywhere else. As a result, our workplaces are more than just economic drivers – they are critical in shaping how we live and the impact we have on our community.

Through the Workplace Challenge, I am asking businesses and organizations throughout _______ to step up and show just how big an impact they can make on the livability of our city. Just like the "Walk 100 Miles" campaign, this challenge embodies the movement that we are calling NashVitality.

I want us all to set the bar high, and I am looking forward to recognizing the organizations that take this challenge to show that they can move ___________ toward a greener, healthier and more involved future.

- Mayor Karl Dean
